This platform is an embodiment of faith creating a community where we look after our own, support one another, and help our members build meaningful relationships founded on faith, love, and shared values.
What we promise
- Nobody outside can see youBy design, not by setting
- There is no public profile page and no shareable photo link. Voice and video calls take place entirely within the platform.You do not need to share your personal phone number or any other private information with your chat partner. Your personal information remains private and is not shared with the person you are communicating with.Your profile does not exist to the outside world, so there is no privacy setting to get wrong.
- Every member has proved they are realBy the identity check, and the administration
- Before anyone can appear on the platform or send messages, they must submit their information for verification. Our software checks the document and a live video straight away, and the Admin looks at anything it cannot settle, before users are allowed to interact on the platform. Documents are stored apart from everything else, every single time one is opened is written to a log, and they are deleted thirty days after the check is finished. No member ever sees another member's document.
- Nobody can message you firstBy how conversations open
- A conversation opens only when both parties have agreed to it. There is no room for unwanted or unsolicited messages on the platform. Only verified members can initiate conversations, helping to create a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
- Your telephone number stays yoursBy keeping calls inside 3CLove
- Our platform is designed to protect members' privacy. Members cannot be contacted through search engines, and only users who have registered, signed in, and been verified by the Admin can access and communicate with members.
- You can block or report from anywhereBy the moderation queue
- Every profile has a Block and Report button, allowing you to block or report anyone you do not wish to interact with. The person you block will not be notified that you have blocked them. A report reaches the administration straight away, blocking takes effect immediately, and the person you blocked is not told.
- A person can always look againBy moderators from the church
- Automatic checks verify identities and flag what looks wrong. An Appointed Administrator decides anything they cannot settle, and can withdraw any automatic approval. If a check finds something serious, the account is paused until an Administrator has looked, but only a person can suspend or close an account. Software suggests who you might like, and only the two of you decide to connect.
- Genotype is a conversation, never a wallBy deliberate choice
- Where the genotype of two prospective partners raises a matter that is important to consider, we will communicate the information openly and provide appropriate guidance or suggestions.We will not withhold relevant information from either party. However, the final decision regarding whether to proceed with the relationship or marriage rests entirely with the two individuals involved. CCC Mountain of New Glory Parish and the matchmaking platform will not make the decision on their behalf and will not be responsible for the personal decision ultimately made by either party.
- What is written down about you is limited and finiteBy the retention schedule
- Identity documents are deleted thirty days after the check is finished. Photographs carry no location data, because that is stripped the moment one is uploaded. Closing your account closes it, and what has to be kept for the church's legal obligations is listed in the privacy notice.
Your part
Everything above is ours to keep. These four are worth carrying yourself, here or anywhere else.
- Meet in a public place the first few times, and tell somebody where you are going.
- Keep talking inside 3CLove until you are ready. Somebody pressing you to move to another app early is a reason to slow down.
- Nobody who genuinely wants to marry you needs money from you. A request for money, however sad the story, is the clearest warning there is.
- If something feels wrong, it is enough of a reason. Block first and explain later, or not at all.
If something has gone wrong
Report it inside 3CLove and it reaches the administration straight away. If it is urgent, or if you would rather speak to somebody, telephone the church. Somebody answers.
