Our commitment to you
Refunds
If you have paid for something and it was not what you wanted, say so. This page says exactly where you stand before you have to ask.
| What you paid for | What you get back | The detail |
|---|---|---|
| The registration fee | Within 14 days, in full | Ask within a fortnight of paying and you get all of it back, whether or not you have used the platform. After that, write to us anyway: if you have barely used it we will almost certainly still refund it. |
| An extra you have not started | Within 14 days, in full | Being seen this week, being featured in your parish, or browsing quietly. If it has not begun running yet, it is refunded in full. |
| An extra already running | What is left of it | We work out the part you have not had and refund that, at the parish's discretion. Nobody is held to a month they stopped wanting on the third day. |
| A gift to the parish | Only if it was a mistake | A gift is a gift, and the church does not take gifts back. If you meant to give five pounds and gave five hundred, that is a mistake and we will put it right the same week. |
How to askRead moreCloseOne email. There is no form and no approval to wait on.
Write to newglory4christ@gmail.com and say what you paid for and why you would like it back. You do not have to give a reason, though it helps us not to make the same mistake twice.
Include the receipt or the date of the payment if you have it. If you do not, we will find it: every payment is recorded against your account.
We answer within five working days, and usually the same week. The money goes back to the card it came from, which normally takes another three to five working days after we approve it, depending on your bank rather than on us.
If you would rather telephone, +44 7463 001660 or +44 7474 691674.
Who takes the paymentRead moreCloseThe church is the seller, and Stripe takes the card.
The church sells everything on 3CLove. Payments are taken by Stripe, our payment provider, who handle the card details, so the church never sees a card number.
Ask the parish for a refund, not Stripe. We send it back through Stripe to the card you paid with.
Your legal right to change your mindRead moreCloseFourteen days under United Kingdom law, and we do not ask you to sign it away.
The Consumer Contracts Regulations give you fourteen days to cancel something bought online and get your money back. Some platforms ask you to waive that for anything you start using immediately. We do not.
This page is written to be at least as generous as the law requires. If the law ever gives you more than we have written here, the law wins and we will not argue about it.
What a refund does to your accountRead moreCloseYou keep your account. You lose only the thing you paid for.
Refunding the registration fee does not delete your account, your profile, your photographs or your conversations. Your free days resumes from where it was, and once it is over you will be asked for the fee again if you want to carry on meeting people.
Refunding an extra stops that extra. Browsing quietly ends and your profile returns to Discover; being featured or boosted simply stops. Nothing else changes.
If what you actually want is to leave altogether, you can delete your account yourself from Your data when you are signed in. A refund and a deletion are separate things, and you can ask for both.
When we say noRead moreCloseRarely, and never without telling you why.
We refuse a refund in one situation: where somebody is plainly working the system, paying and reclaiming repeatedly. Even then we say so in words, to a person, rather than sending a form.
If you think we have got it wrong, say so to newglory4christ@gmail.com and ask for it to go to the parish priest. That is not a complaints procedure with a reference number. It is a second person reading it.
3CLove is run by CCC Mountain of New Glory, 14 Lockett Street, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M8 8EE. This page is part of our terms of use, and what we do with your information is in the privacy notice.
